AYURVEDA: THE SCIENCE OF LIFE

Ayurveda is an ancient practice based on the five elements: Ether, Air, Fire, Earth & Water.

As humans, we all have these five elements within us but some may be more apparent in an individual than others. These differences are broken down into three categories: Vata, Pitta, Kapha, altogether known as the Doshas.

​

Your dosha constitutes your personality, sleeping, eating and toilet habits. Your interests, passions and so much more. Ayurveda is an intellectual tool used to understand our unique individuality and what treatments are best for the body.

External influences such as environment, diet and lifestyle have the ability to cause disturbances to our delicate balance within body and over time this is can lead to disorders, illness and disease.

Yoga: Some forms of exercise may not be suitable for all dosha's, we offer dosha specific yoga classes so that the client is able to exercise, move and stretch in a specific sequence that is unique and beneficial to them.

Massage Therapy: We offer massage therapy in order to relax the client, clear blocked energy and bring toxins to the surface.​

​

Ayurvedic Consultations: Working with clients to get to the root cause of their imbalance and relieve symptoms with diet and lifestyle advice.
