Aloe Vera

With the fluctuating weather we had in September, the delicate skin on out face is vulnerable to the elements.


Pitta (summer) and vata (autumn) both share dry qualities and therefore, skin hydration is top priority.

Blending fresh aloe and applying it to the face hydrates and helps reduce inflammation.



Letting go of Instant Gratification

I was gifted 3 tomato plants in May this year and through lots of love and care a lovely bunch of tomatoes grew. Watching them grow was a remind that anything worthwhile doesn't magically appear overnight.


Nature has a lovely subtlety of teaching us lessons, if we choose to look close enough.

Healing is a huge part of the human journey and the Find Your Shine page gives lovely reminders of what we tend to forget in the chaos of life.



Ginger Tea

With autumn creeping in, ginger tea is a fool proof way of keeping the body warm through this transitional period.


Ayurvedically, ginger is heating and stimulates the digestive fire. A perfect way to keep warm and ease gas and bloating after meals.



Diaphramic Breathing

In a world where we tend to sit more than stand, deep belly breathing activates our diaphragm; a muscle that automatically connects us with our nervous system.


When we breath in this way we move away from daily stresses and move towards calmness, relation and digestion.
